We use Server side printing - but every time we replace or move a PC, a member of the IT admin team has to log onto ICE, set workstation location in order to tell ICE where to send print outs for other users who use that PC.

Does anyone know where this information is stored on the PC - we're about to start on a major PC replacement programme and this is the ONLY app across the whole Trust where we have to login to the PC to make specific change, slows down the support. If we know where this setting is, we could then make the changes centrally - Job done.


We've contemplated giving all user access to Workstation Location, but fear someone will temporarily change a location then not change it back.
