I recognise that there are probably only a few GP's who are currently accessing this forum however hopefully with the passing of time this will change.

For those who are unaware, it looks as if IPS will not release the full interop functionality until at least March 2008 ...

Are Trusts finding this lack of functionality within IPS a major problem or do IPS only form a small percentage of their overall workload??

Do the IPS GP's have any feedback with regards to the situation.

There are alternative ways in which GP's can connect to ICE however this does require the installation of 3rd party software ...

Hi Dom,

We only have 3 practices (at the most) now using IPS. Proposed timescale not really a problem. Haven't discussed with the practices yet.
