I think that this would be a useful addition to the functionality within Anglia.

I would like to be able to initiate this ice mail from either a single rule or from a collection of rules within a rule panel.

The only problem I could foresee is that if we fire off too many ICE mails the important information will be lost in a sea of what we will look upon as SPAM. Most consultants have said to me that they find it useful if when it arrives it is really urgent and not routine.

But I believe there will come a time when system administrators like you and I will receive a lot of system awareness (clinical and operational) ice mails..... Like "this request has not been dealt with and is now 48 hours old" or "This completed examination has not been reported after 5 days".

Richard do you think it would be worth setting up a wish list for future developments on this site?
