Hi all,

Has anyone been able to configure certain tests to "flag up" or ideally prevent repeat requests.  At ESHT we are looking at ways of reducing unnecessary ward repeat requesting.  I have tried the History search options but with no successl. I'm certain there must be a way of configuring certain tests so that a message appears stating that this test has been requested (and displays the requests and/or results) within a given time frame.

Any help or advice would be of great help,

Best regards

Darren Burgess

Hi Darren

We have this set up and ours works. For Example for U&E we have the history search type set to investigation and report validity set to 24 and so if this request is repeat ordered. A message pops up advising that the test was ordered at xxxx date and time and do you wish to continue. Would I assume you have tried this and this has not worked

Corry
