We are currently piloting ICE requesting. I wonder if someone in Microbiology has found a way to flag urgent requests: There is a need to identify some (pre-defined) tests / clinical scenarios (eg urgent VZV IgG testing in a pregnant woman) so that these samples do not go in the 'waiting to be booked in' pile but are booked/tested straight away.

Note: these tests are mostly not on any analyser/interface but have to be setup manually.

Thanks for any input in this matter

Raza
