Hi Dave,

I spend around 70% of my day maintaining Ice alongside our other trust wide systems, I am not clinical but work closely with Pathology and Radiology as required.

Hi Dave,

I am the Systems Manager at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, I am responsible for maintaining the Clinician and Location mappings between ICE and all other systems, which believe me is not an easy task. We have weekly Ward changes, new Clinicians strating others leaving. It is an ongoing battle to keep all teh systems in line. We are currently going through a process review to try and improve how much internetion is needed on a daya by day basis. On top of this we are designing Speciality requesting screens for all areas and trying to maintain user roles and permissions. I also manage the exception reports as well as several other systems. We do have an Admin team who look after adding users to the ICE system but that in itself can be a problem. Sometimes it is difficult for them to understand the importance of recording accurate information for each user added.
