Hi,

We are currently looking at the way we can monitor the data feeds into ICE and wanted to find out how this is managed by other Trusts. We were hoping to be able to set up some sort of alert system when a feed goes down but are not entirely sure how to structure it.

Hi Emma,

Do you have pro-active alerting currently setup at your site? This provides a way to send automatic emails if one of the ICE datafeeders go down. If you don't have this setup already then please speak to your implementataion specialist about this as they will need to raise this with the office to setup for you.

We use pro active email at Norfolk and Norwich, we get it to send emails to our tech team, some times it can be a bit too sensitive but it work very well to inform us they is a problem when before we would only know there is an issue when the user lets us know.
